Do I need an account to watch movies?

No. The full Free Movies library at /movies plays ad-free with no signup. You only need an account to invite a partner or friends, sync playback, and chat while you watch.

Is UsTube really ad-free?

For movies served through our player, yes. We strip pre-roll and mid-roll YouTube ads using the embedded no-cookie player. We never insert our own ads.

How does "watch together" work?

One person picks a movie and sends an invite over chat. When the friend taps Join, both players are pinned to the same timestamp — pause on one side pauses on the other. Add an audio or video call on top for the full couch experience.

What's pairing? Do I have to pair with someone?

Pairing links two accounts into a private couple's room with one shared chat and a permanent watch session. It's optional — you can use UsTube solo or only with friends.

Is UsTube free?

The catalogue, calls, chat, and pairing are free. A paid plan adds higher-quality streams, more watch-room members, and longer call recordings.

What can I watch on UsTube?

Three things, and only three — we removed everything that didn't work properly. 1) YouTube: search inside the app or paste a link. 2) Your own video files: upload and watch them together. 3) Screen share from a PC: play anything on your computer and share the tab.

Why does screen sharing need a PC?

Mobile browsers don't give apps access to your screen. So one partner opens UsTube on a computer, calls the other, and toggles Share Screen. The other person can be on a phone, tablet or PC — they just watch. Remember to tick "share tab audio" so sound comes through.

How do I add a friend?

Open Friends, search their username, and send a request. Or share your invite code — you both earn credits when they join.

How do I start a call?

Open your chat with that friend and tap the phone (voice) or camera (video) icon in the header. Their face stays visible even when the call is minimised.

How long can a free room last?

Free rooms last 1 hour. A paid plan removes the limit — see Pricing.

How do I pay?

Can I get a refund?

Can I delete my account?

Yes, from Settings → Danger zone. Profile data is removed; anonymised analytics are retained per our Privacy policy.
